March Roadtrip

Here are some of the highlights from my recent trip to Manila. Touchdown March 26, 2011 10ish am and we made our way to Intramuros.

That's me on Petra, the horse with my friends at the back. Kalesa tour in Intramuros cost us P100/head. But Kuya (?), the kalesa driver was too demanding in asking for a tip! ugh!

Daut drove us to Nasugba Batangas where Calaruega church is situated. It's a very popular place for intimate wedding ceremonies. In fact, there was a wedding when we went there. The place is so romantic. So letters to Juliet! The church closes at 5pm for visitors. Good thing, one of the guards allowed us to go inside for a few minutes.

Make sure to visit Bag of Beans when you're in Tagaytay. I SWEAR, they have the best mashed potato! Namnam.

Daut's friends from work prepared dinner for us in Tagaytay. Bulalo, Chicken Adobo, Salad and more. Lutong bahay at its best. Thank you so much!

Their house is so cool and cozy, no need for aircon! Group picture before we head home.
